4-H LIBERIA
47% of Liberians face food insecurity and undernourishment. With 43% of its population under the age of 15, Liberia is home to one of the world’s youngest demographics. Empowering this generation with agricultural knowledge and leadership skills is key to building a food-secure and prosperous Liberia.
4-H Liberia is tackling food insecurity by equipping young people with the skills and knowledge needed to drive agricultural innovation and community growth. Through hands-on programs in over 150 schools across seven counties, 4-H Liberia inspires students to ‘learn by doing,’ cultivating leadership, self-reliance, and sustainable agricultural practices. By investing in Liberia's youth, we are planting the seeds for a resilient and prosperous future.
