Marvis Trinity Sheriff is the Gender Program Officer for 4-H Liberia. In this role, she is the leader and champion for Gender Education Programs for 4-H Liberia.
Mrs. Sheriff is responsible for development and implementation of a plan for gender education and outreach for 4-H Liberia. Her long-term goal is for girls and boys to have equal opportunities while working as team. To achieve this, she is seeking to engage volunteers to expand outreach and impact.
Her main duties include: plan, establish and teach gender education programs for children and young adults within schools and communities that have 4-H Clubs; recruit and train volunteers on leadership and gender education; coach volunteers to carry out training plans and objectives; conduct follow-ups to ensure that objectives of the plan are met; and report to the 4-H Liberia National Executive Director and Board of Directors on the program activities.
Mrs. Sheriff is a 2015 graduate of the University of Liberia with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Minor in Management. She has earned several certificates in leadership from programs and institutions in Ghana, Tanzania and Liberia.
She is a role model for girls in her community and also serves as Children Sunday School Teacher at the Faith United Evangelical Church and Monrovia
